i'm away from my office and can't dig up the citation at the moment, but
as i recall, morgan did a study of a well-known Prohibition era case
involving considerable death and disability (in new york, i think) from
bay rum. what i can't recall is whether this was a case of wood alcohol
poisoning or the result of an adulterant. i'm almost sure that robin room
will know. robin? jb
