I have been referred to you for some possible help.
I am doing a research project on the training and
preparation of addiction counselors, and would like to
get any historical information or sources you have
regarding the early non training of alcoholics to help
others, committment to state hospitals and other forms of
how we did not really address the issue of treatment even
after the AMA declared it a disease.
