How do you define binge-drinking?  How much alcohol?  Consumed over  
how much time?  In what countries is it most prevalent?  Groups?

I once had thought of binge-drinking as something prolonged over  
several days, but I now see it applied to drinking on a single  
occasion, say, one evening.  I also had understood that binge- 
drinking was something that adult male alcoholics did.  Now I see it  
applied to younger people who may not drink on other occasions (or at  
least not much).
