You might be interested in some of my work on links between alcoholism
and crime (violence, aggression). I'm attaching a short list of
references. The most historical is "Another Time, Another Drug," which
is an analysis of effects of prohibition on criminal behavior. The one
published by Natl. Inst. of Alcohol and Alcohol Abuse (NIAAA) is the
most theoretical and critical (of the use of statistics for conclusions
about causes, when there are no appropriate comparasons).
I continue to write on the topic and would appreciate receiving
references to any interesting work in the area.
