With the help of Ann-Marie Szymanshi's (London) Times obit reference,
I was able to locate a more detailed obituary in the Washington Post,
12 Oct. 1956, p. 38. By the way, he liked to call himself Captain
Gaston as the result of a WWI rank in the New York National Guard.
