Just got my program for the annual meeting of the American Historical
Association, 8-11 January 1998, in Seattle.  I am glad to see that
the ATHG will sponsor two sessions on Friday, 9 January.
 
Haven't had a chance yet to look for alcohol and temperance-related
sessions and papers outside of ATHG sponsorship.
 
Sorry that I shall miss the AHA meeting.  Hope that the participants
will summarize their papers for the electronic ATHG.
