I was very surpirsed to read that the IAS library is being
downgraded. I wonder if the Institute has made any approach to the
Wellcome Institute library,which has taken in other historical
collections, I know.It has library material from the Society for the
Study  of addiction,the RSM and earlier material from the London
School of Hygiene library.It might be worth a try and would ensure
that the collection is better used than at present.
