I just receiveds a bottle of Guaro from a former student who had been in
Costa Rica  for the past summer. He was not sure of the ingredients, but
thought it was made of sugar cane. Could anyone enlighten me on the
distinction (if any) between guaro and rum? This seems less sweet than
rum, and in fact resembles any grain spirit.
