Any information concerning this area with respect to alcohol of any
description. So far I have encompassed Chinese alchemy and the Guptas of
India in relation to wine. Does anyone out there have input into the
correlation between Japan and China (Yangtze River Valley
4500.B.C.,)which provided the first evidence of sake. How did it get to
Japan and why?
Japan was closed to the west, yet open to trade through the silk road.
Does not make sense. Informed opinions are welcomed, request any clues
you may have, however trivial.
