Hi everyone!
As we begin a new semester, this year's Global Game Jam is almost upon
us. Three weekends from now -- January 27-29th -- we'll be convening
in Benton Hall for another great weekend of making games (digital,
board, and card games). AIMS' Global Game Jam site is up (at
http://aims.muohio.edu/gamejam), registration is open, and I need your
help in getting the word out to students this semester. We're
currently underenrolled and have plenty of room for more participants
and, as an added bonus, we have a new one-day participation level as
well.
Student registration is $40, the one-day "Mentor" pass is $25, and
registration for non-students is $50. Please promote this in your
classes -- it's a great experience for any and all AIMS students,
regardless of their career goals, and is a fantastic opportunity to
have fun and make an impressive portfolio piece in one short weekend.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask -- otherwise,
please send your students to http://aims.muohio.edu/gamejam for more
Global Game Jam information and registration.
Thanks!
