•       Introductions and What is ALAS all about?
•       Happy Belated New Year’s!  New Year’s is my favorite holiday, not only because it is my birthday but also because I like how you can start fresh on this day and make new goals for the year.  So a New Year’s resolution that I would like to make is:  to level out the imbalance of effort being put into this organization between the Executive Board members and the General Body members.  The suggestions we were given at Retreat last semester were awesome but you have to realize that the Executive Board members are exhausted because they are already spreading themselves too thin.  So how can you help?...

•       Thursday, January 31- Latin Dance Night at Millett $9
•       One way to end the Exec. Board’s frustrations of being worked too hard but to also end the General Body’s frustrations of sitting through boring meetings is to have the programs be a part of the meetings.  So please, if you want something to happen, take the initiative and do it yourself!  Example: you want us to do more with Latin American sports…come to an Exec. Board member and let us know that you want this to happen and prepare something with this sports theme for a meeting.
