Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Brooklyn Alumni Chapter offers $1,000.00
in
Scholarship Aid to a high school male senior, of Black or Latino
descent,
who will be entering college in the fall of 2007. All candidates must
meet a
specified list of attributes that is included with the application
form.
Applications are available at www.brooklynsigmas.org. Application
deadline
February 15, 2007.


The Princeton Summer Institute is a 10 day all expenses paid summer
journalism program held in August at PrincetonUniversity for students
from
under researched financial backgrounds.   All application materials
are
available at www.princeton.edu/~sjp. The application must be postmarked
by
February 15th.   You must meet the following qualifications: you must
be
entering your junior or senior year of high school in fall 2007, you
must
have at least a 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0), you must have demonstrated an
interest
in journalism and you parents must meet an income requirement.


MorganStanleyDiversityHigh School Internship (application attached).
The
application is read-write enabled so you can fill in the blanks, print
it
and mail it in along with all of the other materials. ALL students
must
complete an application even if they have worked here previously. The
deadline is Friday, March 9th at 5pm. Incomplete and/or late
applications
will not be reviewed.

The EleanorRooseveltCenter for Val-Kill (ERVK) 11th Annual Girls
Leadership
Workshop Program. Summer program to educate, empower and activate
adolescent
girls to become the next generation of social justice leaders.  For

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office announces the Legal Bound
Program
2007 Summer Internship Program for high school juniors and seniors
that
reside in Manhattan.   Please review the attachment for more

Evalee C. Schwartz Charitable Trust provides interest-free loans to
undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate exceptional
academic
performance and significant financial need.   High school seniors may
