Off Campus Students,

Help us understand more about your off-campus living situation and concerns. Please take this
short survey from the Office of Off-Campus Affairs when you need a break from from studying
for finals!

https://survey.muohio.edu/Checkbox/offcampuswalkabouts2009.aspx

-------

Also, Here are several reminder tips as you leave town for the longer holiday break.

Make arrangements to move your car off Oxford streets while you are gone to comply with the 72-
hour parking restriction. This applies to ALL Oxford streets. Your car will likely be towed,
especially those cars that remain parked on Snow Routes. You can get a temporary Miami parking
pass from the Parking & Transportation Office to park at Ditmer Parking Lot.

Do a vacant house check form with OPD at http://www.cityofoxford.org/FormPage.asp?FormID=8.
This will notify the OPD to stop by and check in on your house while you are away for the
Holidays!

Lock up valuables or take them with you, especially TV's, Game Stations, Stereos and Blue Ray
Players.

Lock ALL windows and doors, on every level of your place. Close the blinds, stop the newspaper
deliveries, use timers on inside lights, leave outside lights on.

DO NOT TURN OFF THE HEAT. Check with the landlord about what setting to use. Most recommend keeping your heat above 55 degrees. A small electric bill is much less expensive than
a pipe bursting in your walls!

But most importantly, have a safe trip home and a Happy Holidays!
