Description:
The Homeland Security Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program

Grants and Training (G&T) to assist smaller communities in acquiring and
using commercially available equipment to prevent, deter, and respond to

This competitive program is a direct assistance program, not a grant

directly to the selected jurisdictions.

CEDAP's equipment offerings include: a) personal protective equipment,
b) rescue tools, c) thermal imaging, night vision and video surveillance
tools, d) chemical, biological and radiological detection tools, e)
information technology and risk management tools, and f) interoperable
communications gateways.
