Hey Birders,

We will be having an exciting meeting on Dec. 7th in Pearson Hall room 112 at 6:00 pm.  We'll be 
covering variety of things.  First we'll be discussing the designs for the Club Promotion posters.  
We have three posters that will be up for critique.  Next we'll be talking about the 'stuff' the Bird 
Watchers of Miami already has in its possession (binoculars, bird books, etc.) as well as the things 
we have yet to purchase (tripod, scope).  Then we'll discuss a few options for the club to do on a 
monthly basis alongside the second Tuesday 6 o'clock meeting and second Saturday morning hike!  
Did I hear a Miami Basketball fan club called "the bird's nest"?!!  And finally Dave Russell will teach 
us a little something about birding records and how we can keep our own for the club to share 
with the community.  If you can come for the whole thing or just a part of it, we'd love to see you 
there!

There will be snacks.

Also, Dave Russell will be leading a Bird Walk on Dec. 4th around Brookville Lake.  Meet at 7:30 am 
in the Oxford Wal-Mart parking lot.  I've heard good things about the annual hike!
