No that's not quite right is it?
Reading is about the engineering of desire
in that it attempts to suade
lesser powers in the interests of greater.
But it does not install that negative value in plenty, not in a positivity.
Not in a metaphysic presence, that's right.
 
I think of reading as a public space, or interior space made public:
readerships.
