Subject: [narst] STEM Education Faculty Search-UF

The School of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education at the
University of Florida (Gainesville, FL), a comprehensive land-grant research
university and member of the Association of American Universities, invites
applications for an Associate or Full Professor to begin August 2011. This
is a nine-month tenure-track position.

Applicants for this position should be recognized scholars in a field
related to Mathematics Education, Science Education, and/or Educational
Technology. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain a
well-developed, systematic line of research; pursue external funding;
facilitate interdisciplinary research with colleagues at the University of
Florida and other institutions; contribute to advanced graduate studies in
STEM education; and recruit and mentor doctoral students and junior faculty.
This senior-level faculty member would join an active research community of
STEM education faculty and doctoral students committed to the pursuit of the
highest level of scholarship.
