Regarding the first question about AV and the ANY option - yes, your
understanding is correct. If you create an AV Installation requirement
with the ANY option, it will check for the existence of one or more of
the AVs supported by CCA. Same with AV update - the only issue with AV
Update could be that the particular AV on the user machine may not be
supported for the automated update option. So, just make sure that the
instruction is clear to the end user (e.g. "We will attempt to
automatically update the AV definitions at this time. If it does not
succeed, you will need to right click on the AV icon and update the AV
definitions manually before proceeding" or something like that).

We actually allow our students to have any AV as long as it is supported
by CCA. We haven't run into any issues so far. We also have the problem
with summer camps and such here in our res halls. We've been bouncing
around some ideas from making an exception for them in CCA to moving the
rooms they are in off CCA VLANs for the duration of their stay. We're
still on the fence as to what the best option is.
