We've been clearing the certified devices every seven days at 3:00am all
semester without a problem. Until about 2 weeks ago when the certified
list was cleared it also kicked the users off (which is what we
wanted). Two weeks ago it stopped kicking the users off when it cleared
the certified list. I removed and then re-added the setting just to
make sure it didn't get confused somehow. Last time we had to re-create
it after the time change.

We do have the heartbeat timer set for 5 minutes but haven't received
complaints from our students.
