Bill,

DNS should not be needed for that.  Could you check the shared secret
between the two machines and make sure that it's the same? 

Also make sure that the CAM can ping the CAS, etc.

Good Day,

I've got an installation of 3.6.2 in a test network. When I attempt to
jo in the server to the manager a very quickly get an error saying
server could
 
not be added. 

There is no name server in this test environment, and as the IP is used
t o join a server I'm assuming that DNS is not required. 

Just want to verify that this should be working w/o DNS.
