Folks,
Today you cannot clear CDL based on a VLAN/CAS/ or Switch IP. Hopefully,
sometime in the future

Mary,
Here at Georgia Southern we clear the list every Monday morning at 6am.
To answer your 2nd question, yes there's a way to purge the list, but I
don't think it can be done on a per vlan basis. You could probably write
a customized script but I don't remember seeing anything in
cisco_api.jsp that would just clear based on vlan.

Subject: Removing Devices from Certified Device List and Other
Questions
Hi Everyone,
I work at Johnson & Wales University, and we are planning on clearing
the certified device list every week. I was wondering: How often do
you plan on clearing the certified device list? The reason we are going
with every week is because it will protect us from zero day exploits.
We also want the students to become used to logging in to have their
systems scanned, getting the latest updates for Windows and AV dat
files. Last year we cleared the list every few months or so..... and
when it came time for students to go through the process again, many had
forgotten how to do it and also, they would have a lot of updates to
apply so it could be a long process.
My second question is: Is there a way to stagger clearing the certified
device list? For example, one res hall is cleared on Monday, the next
on Tuesday, etc. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please let me
know!
Thanks so much,
Mary
