Verify that the search dn is correct. Ours is something like
cn=ldapadmin,ou=admin,o=tree Our search base context is o=tree, and
our search filter is cn=$user$
Also, if mapping is the problem, i.e. they are not being put in the
right roles, then ensure that the search user account (ldapadmin in
the example above) has rights to see all of the tree that it needs
to. Try using an ldap tool like ldapsearch (unix commandline) to
authenticate as that user and search the tree.
