Just added a wee bit of a new page to the discography at my site, enumerating
some of the stranger bits of Connelliana.  The URL is

At some pont I'll add information about the Anne Summers' song that
name-checks the band....  Does anyone have title/author/publication
information for a piece of short fiction that appeared in Rolling Stone a
while back and had a mention of The Connells? .... I remember it was by one
of those Bret Ellis Easton-ish "writers" and that it was in the context of a
character hearing "'74-'75" while he (or she) was bored/drove an expensive
car/inhaled copious amounts of cocaine/hated his (or her) parents and/or
significant other.... I meant to print it out when it was on the RS website
and never got 'round to it.  (Wonder why... ;) )
