Well I finally picked it up yesterday..Listened to it..listened to it
again..I am now on listen #6...
 
Everyone is raving about "Fifth Fret" - I just don't see it.
Some people positively hate "Adj. Song" - I think it's great!
I thought Peele's song was excellent - I hope he contributes many more..
I was disappointed that George didn't sing any of the songs, maybe that
was his reward for having a solo album!
 
I do agree that if Scott Litt had applied his touch to the entire CD, it
would have sounded a lot different (I'm not saying better)..
 
It seems like this CD is the Connells minus their Euro-influences..it sounds
more "American" to my ears than their previous releases..It also sounds
more stripped down, less wall of soundish..
 
All in all, I don't think they are going to win any new converts with
this album - I think "Maybe" would have been my choice for the first single..
 
While Boylan Heights is still my favorite, I would still recommend this
CD..
