I can't control myself any longer--I gotta chime in here. O.K.,
granted, I live in NC so most of the shows I've seen have been pretty
close. But the furthest I've driven for one show has been around 7
hours one way. I *did* make 2 500-mile-roundtrips two weeks in a
row once. And the Athens/Charleston/Norfolk weekend put about 1400
miles on the ol' Escort. If I had to make a guess of how many miles
'in toto' I've put on my car going to 'Nells shows, I'd have to say
about 5000-6000. Of course, having friends with new cars is a big
help.:) If I weren't one cheap bitch, I'd probably fly more.
Hey....who's gonna be in Raleigh next week at the museum show?
