Good point about Hootie. I was shocked to find out that they SOLD OUT the
20,000 seat Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. In Charlotte, a ticket givaway
involves Xeroxing ones butt and faxing it in. It's "Bootie for Hootie".
Here in Raleigh, people will swallow live goldfish for Hootie tickets.
This is the same band which couldn't fill the Brewery 2 yrs ago??? I
agree, though. They are just TOO safe.
   Here's another enigma: Weezer??
There are some nice bands such as Dillon Fence and Presidents of the
USA (they do "Lump"). Anyway, I'm actually intrigued by the C's European
success because as their sound has become more "american", I don't like
them as much.

PS. Look for Broughton High School, my alma mater, in the '74-'75 video!
