Hey everybody!

After seeing some mention of the Reivers a few times, I thought that
some trivia would be appropriate. My brother is in a band in Austin
called "The Texas Instruments," and they played often with the Reivers
(I live in Dallas). The Reivers did break up a few years ago, but I
saw Kim at my brother's wedding a few months ago. She is a very happy
(I think) mother of 2 (maybe 3-I'm not too sure and I didn't ask). As
far as I know, she is not doing anything musical. I have no idea on
the other Reivers. By the way, I think that "Saturday" is their best
album (and probably the most easily found). Anyway, I miss their
shows, BAD !! But I also miss the Connells! WHEN are they coming to
Dallas again????????? Remember, everybody think "Connells in Dallas,
Connells in Dallas, Connells in Dallas!!". Anyway, if you like the
Connells, you will like the Reivers! PS, there is another band out of
Austin that is about as old as the Reivers, that I think that most
Connells fans would like, called "Javelin Boot." They are very poppy
and jangly !!! Oops, sorry to blab on and on. Later !!!
