Although I am newly subscribed to this list, I can't understand the
lack of activity. I've been a long time fan of The Connells, but
they don't tour Canada too often (if ever). I was fortunate to have
seen them live only once, when they played in Boston along with Big
Dipper in, I think 1991.

If nothing else, can people post new bands or albums that are
musically in the same genre as the Connells, i.e. power pop, folk-
rock, etc. or RIYLs (I need something to sustain me between new
Connells releases). There may be some overlooked pop gem that has
received only regional or local airplay and that may be of interest
to others. If you are willing to post, would you give a brief
description of the music. Eagerly awaiting any replies!
