Hi all
 
With regard to OT squared, I believe that it comes from the phrase "own
thing own time" which Mike used to describe his songwriting style.  I got
this from the bio sheet that accompanied One Simple Word, and was packaged
with promo album copies.
 
I also agree that the Gufs are fairly similar to the Connells, but I
forgot them on my list.
