To my knowledge, they've been around since at least '90, but more likely,
before that. They've been playing the club circuit for a while, and have at
least two more albums in addition to the one you talked about.  They've been
signed to Mammoth for a while.  I'm pretty sure they're in the opening slot
for the Hootie and the Blowfish tour and got the gig because their paths
probably crossed many times playing clubs and frats.  If you can manage to
listen to Hootie and the Blowfish one more time, check out the reference in
one of the verses of the newer single to dillon fence.
 
I seem to remember someone telling me that their name is derived form an
actual fence made up from all kinds of junk - possibly the constructor was
named dillon?
 
That's what I know off the top of my head.
