hey everyone,

I saw the show saturday night and it was great! I heard a report that steve
and some of the other guys had been playing "imaginary lifeguard" in the
water after friday nights show.

the opening band, the comas, were pretty good. the lead singer was
plastered, telling the crowd, "I've been drinking like I was at the beach on
vacation, I forgot I had a job to do"

now, back to the connells... the place was very full... it seemed like more
and more people kept coming downstairs... this place only holds about 400
people. they played a good mix of old a new. I don't really remember the set
list (it was late :) )

I know they played rusted fields, evne though it wasn't on the set list.
They told Art they played it just for him.

all in all a great show, well worth the drive from raleigh. BTW: shout out
to the band for sending out that e-mail update... I got it saturday morning
and decided to drive down right then!

kevin
