As Adrienne (sp?) said - they are hard to pinpoint.  Beautiful harmony -
only the women sing.  I can't say they are 'folky' as they underlay some
beautiful strings on a number of songs.  I would call them an Innocence
Mission only with a deeper and luxurious sound. However, this is an
oversimplification (and of absolutely no help if you never heard of
Innocence Mission :).
 
I you want to try them out, I would suggest getting their first CD
(self-titled) first.  I probably haven't let the new one grow on me
enough yet.
