HI all,

I know a little about the Promise Ring.  they are from Wisconsin.  I think
they have had a couple of records on a fairly major label and a couple on
independent label(s).  I believe that they used to be kind of straight
edge.  I certainly agree that they are good in a guitar driven pop way
(much like many of my fvaorite Connells songs).  I saw them once in
concert about 3-4 years ago.  I don't remember much except that they
played loud fast and melodic.  But at least they came to South Dakota
