       The Gufs' singer would be flattered with the comparison.
     Guadalcanal is one of his favorite groups from the 80s.  I grew up
     with Goron and Dejan of The Gufs.  Have you checked out their Atlantic
     debut?  Let me know what you think.  I was going to ask if anybody on
     this list had heard of/or listened to The Gufs.  But since this is a
     Connells page,  I didn't think it was appropriate.  By the way, a
     reunited Guadalcanal has been playing out in Atlanta and Athens.  They
     are supposedly going to put out some new material.  I saw them at the
     first reunion show in Atlanta a few months ago and they were great.
