A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE WORKSHOP.....

As we were expanding our corporate client base this past year, we
started getting calls from university colleagues across the country.
What were they calling about?

First, let us give you a quick background:

We are pleased to announce our new Phoenix-based corporation,
UNIVentures, Inc., a professional firm to foster partnerships between
university and corporate management and leadership programs. Peggy
Covert, former Executive Director of Professional Development,, San Diego
State University, and Candace Cox, former Director of the Center for
Management Development, University of Denver are the players in this
initiative.

UNIVentures was founded in Denver in 1992 by Candace, and we each
relocated with our families this past summer to the Valley of the Sun to
start this new adventure together, as well as keep our husbands gainfully
employed (a Reebok golf sales rep and a McDonnell Douglas engineer).

With a love for this business, and 30 years of combined experience to
boot, we find ourselves in the gratifying position of being called upon
by your counterparts at various institutions to provide programming ideas
and resources, coach new center directors and their key staff members,
provide qualified speakers for residential programs and public
workshops, initiate university-sponsored consortia, and handle follow-up
to inhouse inquiries on the center's behalf. This is our way of staying
connected with Innisbrookers, our professional family for over 17 years
(both of us served on the conference planning board for a number of
years).

At the risk of sounding 'promotional,' and not intending to be, we do
want to share the celebration of our new venture with you and let you
know about our new-found niche as center advisors.

If we can help you grow your center, either as a new start-up or in an
expansion phase, please let us know. Our fees are competitive and our
hearts are collaborative.

 Fondly,

 Peggy Covert & Candace Cox
