We think the solution with the most leverage is to place information
about yourself and your resources at an established 'central' web
site, focused on training, development and education related
resources, a site where your can enter your own resources (from
anywhere in the world directly through the Internet, from
AmericaOnline, CompuServe, or Prodigy) for free, (or have us enter
them for a small fee), where people in business and industry can
search, find choices, request more information, apply to register or
order while on-line; a site where you can receive these customer
requests yourself also for free if you choose to receive them via
electronic mail (or by fax or U.S. mail for a small fee).
We have created just such a site. TASL is one of the most
sophisticated sites on the Web, and we invite each member of this
list who is a qualified provider of training, development or
education related resources to list your resources there.
Our entire focus is training, development and education related
resources for business and industry. We are an information service,
not a training company (though most of our experience is in managing
corporate training).
For those not on-line, we can enter their information and forward
customer requests by Fax or U.S. Mail., for very reasonable fees.
If you are a qualified provider of public seminars, executive
education, continuing education, certificate programs, industry
conferences, training or development related consulting or contract
services, training products, training facilities, satellite downlink
or video conference sites, we would love to include your resources,
even if you choose all no fee options, making the service entirely
free to you and your customers. We include resources from training
organizations, consulting firms, educational institutions, industry
associations, companies that produce training products and training
related equipment and furniture, hotels and conference centers, and
satellite and video conference providers and facilities.
Our on-line forms, accessible through our home page, allow you to
submit your request to register with no risk as soon as you wish, and
the database is now ready to accept information on scheduled events,
such as public seminars, conferences, etc., from our homepage. You
can also test our on-line customer request system from there now.
You will soon also be able to enter your services on demand,
products, and facilities.
If you would like more information, please send me an E-Mail with
your U.S. mail address and I will send you a brochure about our
service, or will answer any questions on-line, by phone or by fax.
We also have for-fee options, for including colored logos or other
art work, brochures with multi-media options, links to your homepage
if you already have one, etc.,... all of which are very reasonable
and purely optional. How do we make our living? From those who
freely select our very reasonable for-fee options.
We realize that our value to customers is in being as complete as
possible. We hope you decide to partner with us to make it easy for
people in business and industry to look in a central place and

A little over a month ago, we introduced a new service - TCM's
"Business Showcase - Training & Development" - a 24 hr/day, year
round, online "trade show" where suppliers to the Training &
Development Community can provide information on their companies,
products and services.
The online Training & Development community is growing rapidly.
There are now over 3,800 subscribers from over 50 countries actively
participating in two focused discussion groups (listservs) -
Training & Development List (trdev-l) and Distance Education Online
Symposium (deos-l). The community has a critical mass of residents,
communication links, and dialogue. It has an organized source of

in a single issue of a trade publication.
You can have a "booth" in this permanent tradeshow - a full-color
page or pages (even an online order form) describing your company,
your products and services with your corporate logo - for as little
as $600 (USD) for the first year ($450 for each additional year).

area on the www within a couple of days.
