Hi Peggy-

I met you during the interview process here at Thunderbird and am now
in charge of the Global Leadership Certificate program.

I will mail a brochure out to you today, but if your friend needs some info
for her presentation, let me tell you a few quick facts:

1. Next program begins Sept. 13th and runs until Dec. 1st. Usually fills up,
but I believe there are still some spaces available.

2. Class is held Monday or Tuesday nights from 6:15 - 9:00. Student can
choose to attend Mon evenings at Thunderbird campus OR Tuesday
evenings at Motorola University in Tempe (Price & Elliott).

3. Mandatory sessions are first class session, mid-term and final exam;
otherwise, attendance is optional, but of course, we encourage
attendance at ALL sessions to get the most benefit from the program.

4. Content of program is focused in the following areas:
Leadership - Challenges and Opportunities, State-Market Relations in the
Global Economy, Customer Service: Building Competitiveness Via a
Service Edge, Competitive Advantage Through Strategy, Financial
Accounting: Understanding Financial Statements, Financial Management:
Increasing Firm Value, Marketing Management, Production and
Operations Management, Organizational Culture, Management of
Information Technology: Using Information Strategically, Area Studies (i.e.
Doing Business in China), Negotiating Successfully Across Cultures:
Within and Between Companies, Managing Change, Leading Change as
Final Capstone to course (also night of awarding of certificates)

5. Participants have 3 - 10 years of management experience and are
mostly in mid-level management positions or technical people who need
to make a tranisition into management as well as managers and team
leaders who need to become more knowledgeable in a variety of
functional areas.

6. The benefits are: Broaden your knowledge base, hasten the move
from specialist to generalist, greater understanding of current issues
transforming the corporate landscape (e.g. globalization, flattening
organizations, new technologies), expand business vocabulary by
exploring challenges in Finance, Marketing, Leadership, Accounting,
Strategy and Customer Service, explore interrelationships among
functional areas of business, interact with world-class faculty in
international business, apply class concepts immediately in your current
position.

7. Current fee: $1,950 per person; $1,750 per person for an enrollment
of 5 or more employees from the same company.

That about covers the entire brochure...hope that helps. You should
receive the information in the mail to forward on to your contact by
Tuesday, July 1.

Thanks for thinking of us!
