Dear Eric,

Thursday 11-12, or at 3:15 is ok for me (but I teach at 4). Of course, I could miss the Fiction reading list discussion, if at the end... My 4-6:40 Grad workshop will be over, so at 7 is ok, I guess, too, but I wasn't planning to stay that late that night (I never play poker). Is there a Dept meeting or anything else on tap for that Wednesday? If so, 1-3 is ok, I suppose, if I have to be there anyway-- (though it means rearranging various family arrangements in Cincinnati to be there). So, I'd rather Thursday, if possible, though it means an even longer or more crowded day. I gather cris is out of town for Thursday; Wednesday, too? That might be a factor...

Subject: Creative Writing Meeting & Poker

Dear Writers,

I’d like to schedule our first CW meeting of the semester for sometime next week, say for an hour. Because we will have a guest, K. Tuma to talk about various options for the MU Press for next year, I’d like to schedule the meeting for an hour or so, either next Wednesday or Thurssay. Wednesday we could meet between 1-3. Thursday, between 10:30 and 12:00, or beginning at 3:15.

The late meeting on Thursday might work well as the Writers Poker Game (WPG) is set for next Thursday evening at 7 pm.

Please forward agenda items to me.

Here’s what I have so far: 1) Novella contest/MU Press
                                                    2) Revision/Updating of Fiction Reading List
                                                    3) Possible Re-do of Creative Writing Website.

    Eric
