All, especially Margaret and Eric M, we got the Howe grant for 226. Most of this project will be handled by cris, Eric M., Margaret and me. At some point in early/mid August we will need to talk by email as a cohort to agree on what we see as core elements of 226 before the 4 of us move on to develop materials and a Niihka project site and a training session for the grad TAs.

I am delighted to be able to tell you that your proposals to the Howe Center for Writing Excellence have been selected for awards by the Center’s Advisory Committee.
I’m using this email so that you can receive this news as soon as possible. In a few days, you will each receive a formal (printed!) letter about the award. Copies will be sent to your department chair or program director, your dean, and the Provost.
I am attaching a press release that I am sending to the News and Public Information office so that you can see what good company you are among as a grant recipient. Please let me know if you detect any errors. By the way, I created titles for some projects and revised others in order to convey the nature of the project. If I did this for yours, I hope you will find my efforts satisfactory.
