  Here's my 2 cents..
 
  I've noticed that sometimes there is a considerable lag on the 28's .. at
least this happened fairly regularly when I was using them on Monday or Tuesday.
Hasn't happened in the last 2 days, though. Maybe heavy load?
 
  Also, I'm curious as to what brand the modems are. I've noticed that I've
received a 31000bps connection sometimes (although I think that was related
to the aforementioned lag). Are these modems v.34+? I'm using a USR V.Everything
with 33.6kbps ROMs
