I'm far from an expert on this subject, but I don't believe that Apple has
released a way to do Appletalk over PPP, yet.  They've been talking about
it for years, but have produced no implementations, yet.  There are some
proprietary solutions out there, I think, but none are endorsed by Apple.
I'm also fairly certain that our current hardware does not implement any of
the proprietary Appletalk over PPP implementations, either.
 
Another senario that may be even more interesting is AppleTalk over IP.
This is also something Apple has discuessed in the past and would probably
fit better into our network directions here at Miami.
