Many thanks for your kind comments (which I've quoted here in their
entirety in case anyone missed the original post!)  :-)
 
We're excited that, for the most part, the Ethernet and video
connections are going very smoothly.  This is a tribute to the hard work
by NEC (the contractor for the data and video network construction),
their subs (all the other contractors like Rapier, CommLine, Allied, and
others), and all the folks within Miami University.
 
PPP, on the other hand, is keeping us busy, so we've got a ways to go
there.  We had been warned by other universities which have implemented
PPP, Ethernet and video, that PPP would result in by far the most
trouble calls -- so many different computer configurations and
conflicts, and difficulties getting the PPP modems stabilized.  So far,
we're right on track there!
