Headline:  Confusion Reigns at MCIS!!
 
This morning Joe Simpson posted a notice decommissioning
service at 529-5777 and 529-2930.
 
In this post Joe suggested that off campus users of these
numbers reprogram their dialer to use 523-0003.  This
post was correct.  It still is correct.
 
Unfortunately he got a call from another MCIS staff member
alledging that the number was 529-0003.  Ever ready to
to admit his falibility Joe said "please post to correct
the error."  Joe of course assumed that he had posted
the 529 prefix.  The other staff member assumed that 523
was the wrong prefix.
 
523-0003  will offer ppp dial in service to members of the
Miami University community.
 
Calls to 529-0003 will probably result in a hit person visiting
Joe Simpson to explain what rude really means!  PLEASE DON'T
USE 529-0003.
