Graduate students who have a paper accepted at a professional meeting are
alligible to apply to the Graduate school for the Graduate Students'
Achievement Fund.  The awards normally don't exceed $300.

This pool of money is separate from the Departmental Graduate Enrichment
Funds.  The application deadline is NOvemember 2nd.  I urge those of you
who are presenting to conferences or have papers accepted for publication
to apply for the Funds.  I have a copy of the application if you are
