I bet yer .newsrc or equivalent is way off.  For a while, I was showing
lots of messages in groups, but the server denied their existence.  So I
refreshed everything, and then it appeared that there were some messages in
groups, but that they were all read (when, in fact, they were not).  Now,
it's showing that there are no messages in most groups, which I think I
believe.

No, but can anyone tell me if anyplace close to Oxford has good, cheap,
*vegetarian* ramen?  The Campbell's cup-o-ramen thingy is pretty good, but
it's about 4x the price of the (carnage-filled) el Cheapo block-o-ramen
(not that a buck per cup is bad, but when I see that you can get four
blocks for a buck, I still feel cheated).
