Thanks to everyone who sent such detailed directions to Conneaut. We didn't turn up the Piping Plover or Least Bitterns, but we still had a pretty great day. The highlight of which was watching an Avocet feeding voraciously at only 25 yards.

American Avocet
Semipalmated Plover
Western Sandpiper
Short Billed Dowitcher
Least Sandpiper
Caspian Tern
Bald Eagle
Bonaparte's Gull
Herring Gull
Ring Billed Gull
Yellow Warbler
Plus a cast of regulars.

All the shorebirds were seen at amazingly close distances and no scope was necessary.
