*JULY 06, 2018 - CUYAHOGA VALLEY MONTHLY TOWPATH TRAIL CENSUS.*
*HIKE*: Towpath Trail from Red Lock south to Merriman Valley, with stops at
Trail Mix in Peninsula and Szalay's Farm Market on Bolanz Rd.  *TIME*:
5:50am - 4:20pm  *TEMP.*: 72 ~ 79 ~ 77
*COND*.: Overcast early, turning sunny, pleasant, and breezy.  *RIVER COND.*:
High, swift, and muddy from overnight thunderstorms; no rock or sandbars
visible until south of Bolanz Rd.
*TRAIL COND.*: Wet and soggy early with many branches littering the trail
from overnight thunderstorms; drying out and fair from Bolanz Rd. south,
some standing puddles of water; the
first footbridge south of Deep Lock remains out, but steel plates over the
creek allowed access south; the second footbridge south of Deep Lock is
complete; Furnace Run footbridge is still out.
