Thanks to everyone who replied!  The consensus is a Baltimore Oriole.  We
didn't realize that there were so many "dialects!"  

There were also comments about the fake bird songs inserted in broadcasts. 
In this case, we are pretty sure that it was an actual bird call because
when they cut from the hole where it was singing to another hole in
mid-song, we couldn't hear it. Also the song was louder or softer at various
points. Apparently the folks who broadcast the fake bird songs were not
smart enough to a) determine whether that bird would be in the area and
b)cut out the recording when they switched holes.

We are not golfers ourselves but enjoy watching tournaments and
incidentally, trying to identify birds we see/hear.
