I arrived home yesterday so South Bass Island to find red-winged blackbirds 
and common grackles at my feeder. Susan Harrington reported she has had them 
at her island feeder since February 21. This is not a surprise with the mild 
winter we are having-have ferry boat service again!

Bob Glauser reported a single common redpoll at his feeder on February 19 and 
Kit Knaser reported a small flock of redpolls that has been around since about 
February 21 at her island feeder.
