A mid day scan here was slow. Not many Mallards or Canada Geese even.
Water levels were higher than I have seen this fall. Quarry looked like
more water also. Since I didn't spend much time here, I thought I
could hit Oxbow in Indiana and still have time for Fernald and a search
for the Black Scoter there. Nope! There wasn't much at Oxbow, but I
linger. 2 latish I presume Blue winged Teal drakes were nice. They came
up rare in ebird, so I did my best for a pic. Which made me later of course.
I didnt have enough time for Fernald after that.

Fernald Sat? Or chase the Varied Thrush..... I love choices.
